My 3 1/2 yr old Rett daughter had surgery to get a g-tube and we also had a problem with oxygen levels for about 12 hours afterwards, although her lowest was only around 75% (and I thought that was bad!). The nurses responded to us in the same way as you, brushed off our concerns until it became a major issue where she was in and out of consciousness.
